Leslie Srogen

A desire to be fit and stay active along with a caring nature and genuine interest in other people came full circle for Leslie when she first discovered the game of pickleball in 2012.

Leslie has competed in both the Canadian and US Nationals and most recently won a gold medal in mixed doubles 4.5 50+ at the 2021 Canadian Nationals. While she loves being a player, introducing and teaching pickleball to others is her real passion.

She has also been an advocate for pickleball in her community by sitting on the board of the Parkland Pickleheads Club for five years, and through refereeing and teaching others the game. Leslie wants to make it possible for others to experience the fun and health benefits that this sport has to offer!

Cofounding "In A Pickle" with her playing and business partner, Sean in October 2017 has allowed Leslie to attain her dream of being able to share her knowledge and love for the sport of pickleball.
